On Sunday, August 12, 2018, we will be remembering and honoring the life and sacrifice of Police Officer Charles Irvine Jr.
We will come together as one community to perform a group workout that will include a combination of running, body-weight and weighted resistance movements.
This Hero workout will be designed to challenge every person that participates, both physically and mentally, but can also be modified to suit individual needs based on varying levels of athletic ability.
Hero workouts or «Hero WODs» have a deeper meaning and are designed to test our limits, honor those who have served our country, and to remind us of the strength we have together as a community. Do not think of yourself, instead, think about the Hero that has given his life upholding the oath he took to protect others.
We will have delicious food trucks on site.
We are selling personalized headbands for this event. If you do not wish to purchase a headband, we are requesting that you provide a $10 donation to the memorial fund that has been established in Police Officer Irvine's name. To ensure delivery of your headband by the event date, all orders must be completed by Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
