ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Pui Che, Fantasy Illustrator
facebook.com/puiart

Pui Che is a fantasy illustrator exploring philosophy and the spiritual world through visual story telling. He graduated with a degree in Game Art & Design from the Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg in 2008.

He has worked on various freelance projects, from mobile games, cover illustrations, indie game developments, trading card games (Legend of Draxia-2016, Tempest- Shards of the Gods) and many more.

In 2014, looking to explore more opportunities, Pui decided to present his illustrative works at Anime Central, the Midwest’s largest anime, manga and Japanese popular culture convention. It was there that he realized the potential of building his creative work into an entrepreneurial pursuit.

Learning to hone marketing, branding and creative experiments in his artistry lifestyle, Pui began traveling across the United States as well as the globe doing international shows. more information on Pui or to see his works, please visit puillustrated.com.

Tim Von Rueden, Independent Artist
facebook.com/vonn.art

Tim Von Rueden is an independent artist. After earning a degree in Game Design, he became an educator at CGCookie. He spent the next few years creating tutorials and step-by-step picture illustrations. He also recorded and edited time-lapse pieces and hosted weekly livestreams.

With time, he shifted his focus more toward creating art. His work became more personal and strayed from the realism that originally defined it. Today, it includes deep meaning, as well as intense beauty.

In 2014, Tim expanded his focus to include regular exhibits of his art. He released his first sketchbook and embraced traditional graphite art over digital art. He enhanced his social media presence and saw his business success blossom.

Today, Tim works as an independent artist and successful entrepreneur. He is a public figure who inspires and motivates other artists to stay on their path and persevere at entrepreneurship. He spends his time travelling the world, exhibiting his works and writing illustrated fantasy novels. He is truly carving a path as a successful artist in the modern age.
