The conference is an opportunity to hear inspirational stories from eco-literate youth, connect with curricular and funding resources, and learn how schools in the Milwaukee-area are removing asphalt and enhancing their schoolyards with outdoor classrooms, improved recreation, arts, green infrastructure, and project based learning.
Milwaukee Public Schools' Fernwood Montessori. Fernwood has one of the best school greenhouses and aquaponics system in the region, just finished a new building expansion last school year, and is constructing an outdoor classroom this spring — all of which will be on display at the conference.
