Jack and Tess Kenney will be doing their annual seedling give-away at noon on May 26 at the Community Garden School (Bremen and Clarke). Jack reports: «It doesn't look like it will be as extensive as the last few years; some of the little guys have refused to sprout.....so far, none of the peppers have sprouted, for instance. But, we will have Opalka and Krim tomatoes as well as a smattering of a few other tomato varieties, kale, pocket melons, a few basils, white beans and cucumbers, maybe some chard if it comes (looks like they will).....and a couple of other odds and ends. Given the relative dearth of seedlings compared to previous years, we'll probably have to limit it to 2 or 3 for each person. If you have anything you can share with your neighbors, please feel free to bring them along for distribution. It's not much but it's our way of encouraging people to grow their own. Hope to see everyone there.
