Join us for a potluck dinner followed by a discussion about why so much food is wasted, why it matters and what is being done and can be done to reduce food waste.
We’ll base our discussion on Jonathan Bloom’s book, American wasteland: how America throws away nearly half of its food (and what we can do about it), as well as the film: Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story.
If you'd like to read the book, it is available in the Milwaukee Public Library. You can find how to see the film on their website: foodwastemovie.com/
