Experimental Tuesdays at the Union Cinema presents…
From the Archives: CHRONIC
Tonight’s program will showcase Jennifer Reeves' experimental, semi-autobiographical narrative, CHRONIC. CHRONIC follows the life of a young woman who begins to self-mutilate to cope with her traumatic childhood and adolescence. Accompanied by Reeves’ THE GIRL'S NERVY and Kerry Laitala’s ORBIT.
Films — all 16mm prints — were selected from the Cinema Arts Archive, of the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres, by curator ARIEL TEAL, a MFA Candidate in the Department.

The «From The Archives» series invites Graduate Students from the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres to collaborate with the Department's Archive to curate an evening for Experimental Tuesdays.
Much thanks to the Department's Archive Director KATI KATCHEVER for her help in unvaulting the prints and readying them for screening.
