Give your advanced pistol skills an adrenaline boost with training drills designed to get your heart pumping! Our new WFTC Challenge Series consists of high-intensity courses that work on developing and refining the proven skills needed to survive a critical incident. This course will be held at Highlands Firearms Training Academy in Cascade, WI.
In this course, you’ll begin by engaging targets while drawing from your holster at distances between 7-21 feet. These target drills focus on developing confidence in your skills and equipment so that you can repeatedly deliver two well-placed, high-center mass hits on your intended targets.
You’ll also work on malfunction drills, emergency magazine reloads, strong-side/weak-side engagements, and efficient use of cover.
When you’re proficient in these skills, you’ll move to our newly-constructed 180-degree outdoor shooting structure. Here you’ll go against the clock as you advance from interior shooting scenarios to your exit point, confronting multiple steel targets while making maximum use of cover.
Retired US Army Green Beret Kent R. Jones is your instructor for this course. Kent will demonstrate each drill and provide constructive feedback throughout the course as you work on improving and refining your skills.
At the end of the day, you’ll not only shoot better, you’ll also have the confidence and proficiency to survive a critical incident. This course runs rain or shine.
