Training topics will include:
— Education about the opiate issue and how it got started
— How to identify opiate intoxication
— How to identify an opiate overdose
— How to respond to an opiate overdose
— How to administer Naloxone
Learning how to spot an overdose is the first step in saving someone’s life. Overdose can happen whether using a
prescribed medication or from illicit drug use.
Adults who attend the training will be offered a Naloxone kit to take with them, free of charge! (While supplies last.)
