The Seeds of Banquo
by Angela Iannone
A Staged Reading

In the midst of an ongoing family crisis, Edwin Booth spearheads his production of Shakespeare’s cursed Scottish Tragedy, MACBETH. In this intimate visit with one of America’s finest tragedians, author Iannone has captured what was certainly Booth’s great charisma, wit, intelligence and theatrical power. THE SEEDS OF BANQUO puts us in the front row to watch the actor-superstar of his time grapple with questions – onstage and off – of honor, ambition, inheritance and the mystery of the stage.

Featuring
Jake Lesh as Edwin Booth
Cory Jefferson Hagen as Lawrence Barrett
Bryan Quinn as Owen Fawcett
Marcee Doherty-Elst as Mrs. DP Bowers
Rae Elizabeth Pare as Miss Minna Gale
