The Magic is BACK… and BRIGHTER this fall on the 10 acre grounds of Milwaukee County Parks' Boerner Botanical Gardens!
Join us for the FOURTH WEEK of amazing lights and culture at The Gardens. Cultural Weekend, from Oct. 13–15, will focus on Chinese cultural arts with demonstrations, lectures, and videos.
Enjoy over 95% NEW LANTERN displays, TWO STAGE areas for more performances, TWO VENDOR areas for additional asian and western food options, and a CHINESE ARTIST marketplace with live demos and souvenirs!
The Garden House will be the center for cultural displays. Examples of traditional Asian clothing will be on display. Some clothing items will be available for visitors to try on for a photo op. Also on view in the Garden House will be videos highlighting the making of the Porcelain Tower display, China’s natural beauty, history, and culture.
A new Wine & Sake Bar will also offer expanded beverage options. It will feature Albertoni Wines (red & white), Ozeki Sake (flavored & sparkling), Sprecher craft soda, coffee, hot chocolate, and Rishi tea.

We have expanded to nine free parking lots, all of which are lighted. Also expanded is the free shuttle service from outer lots (Lots # 6,7,8 & 9) to the entrance. New drop-off areas have been added for taxis/uber and motorcoaches.
The preferred close-up paved parking (Lot #1) nearest the China Lights entrance will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to people with disabilities who have state-issued disabled parking or disabled Veteran parking license plates, or the state-issued disabled parking identification card.
