Columbus is often a child’s first lesson about encounters between different cultures and races. The murky legend of a brave adventurer tells children whose version of history to accept, and whose to ignore. Learn how to address this myth in your classroom and how to help your students think critically about history. The first 11 members who register will receive a free copy of Rethinking Columbus. Please join us on Thursday, September 14 from 4:30-6pm at the MTEA.
