About 2000 years ago a Jewish carpenter (also Creator and King of the cosmos) was redefining reality. He said, «Whoever does the will of my Father is my Family.» He re-framed family by obedience not blood. We see him do this time and time again throughout His story. We want to invite you into one particular story that is full of brokenness, reconciliation and transformation. It takes place at a well in Shechem.
If ever there was a time for reconciliation in Milwaukee it is now. The mess in our city often keeps us from recognizing the beauty. Yet, He continues to meet us in our mess every day in attempt to reconcile us to himself, others and the places we live. This year we invite you to meet us at the well. We will discover together the call that same carpenter places on each of us as we are given the opportunity to meet people at the well.
We are hosting our second annual Family Reunion. You may not know anyone else at the reunion, but know this; we are family. We are going to gather for a couple of hours and do what our Father loves us to do: fellowship, hear a song or two, share some food at His table, and see what the rest of the «fam» has been up to!
