Dia de los Muertos is a time for us to pay tribute to our loved ones who have passed away, lets celebrate their lives in welcoming their returning spirits.
After Gallery's first Dia de los Muertos exhibition. Day of the Dead festivities unfold over two days in an explosion of color and life-affirming joy. The centerpiece of the celebration is an altar, or ofrenda. These altars are meant to welcome spirits back to the realm of the living. Marigolds are the main flowers used to decorate the altar. Marigold petals guide wandering souls back to their place of rest. Join us and let us all celebrate together.
After Gallery is accepting submissions now for any who will like to be part of the exhibition. You can contact Gloria Magaly Ruiz-Santos or on the event page, also swing by the Gallery 2225 N. Humboldt Ave. Ask for Gloria or Flow
