Zoo Pass - Zoological Society of Milwaukee
10005 W Bluemound Rd, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53226
What better place to enjoy a bike ride than the Milwaukee County Zoo? With trails, hills and a view that can't be beat, Ride on the Wild Side is a fantastic family-friendly bike outing that supports the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. Special thanks to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for sponsoring this event.
There are different trails for bike riders of all levels. The Critter Caravan is a 2.5 mile ride tailored for children through the Zoo, and their plush animal pals can ride along in a bike basket or backpack! More experienced riders can choose a 10 to 20+ mile ride that routes through the Zoo and continues along the Menomonee River Parkway and the Oak Leaf Trail.
After the ride, kids can enjoy snacks, temporary tattoos and crafts at the Kids Zone. All participants are able to park their bikes at the Bike Corral and enjoy lunch after the ride.
Both individual and team registration information can be found at: zoosociety.org/snooze. Team registration deadline is August 25, and individual deadline is September 7. The registration fee includes Zoo admission and parking, breakfast, lunch and a long-sleeve T-shirt. Don't forget your bike helmet!
